I am strong, confident and successful. I’m also weak, insecure and a failure. Both of these statements are true. And, I bet they are for you too. What I’ve done in my life is to try to live somewhere in the middle, in that sweet spot between strong and weak. If I’m too strong, then that gets perceived as bitchy; If I’m too weak, then that gets seen as pitiful.
By trying to avoid going too forward toward one end of the spectrum or the other, I’ve lived small, having made decisions that kept me from being visible and stepping into the light. I know I don’t want to do that anymore. How about you?
I work with women who are smart, confident and successful on the outside, but who feel deep fears and insecurity on the inside. They question their decisions and constantly beat themselves up with the ‘shoulds’ – “I should be a better Mother;” “I should have gone to that meeting;” “I should have worked harder and I should have cooked dinner every night.”That constant barrage of negative self-talk keeps them from stepping into their light too.
The exterior version of themselves doesn’t match the interior. My life’s work is to help you create the best version of yourself on the outside, but more importantly on the inside.
I have created a virtual women’s leadership course called ‘Doing What Matters’ to offer you a framework to feel strong, confident and successful on the inside, as well as the outside. I will walk you through a process I’ve created that gives you the opportunity to get real with yourself about what you want, what is in the way of having that, and how to overcome the obstacles to create a life filled with confidence, peace, and purpose. I want you to know your value, your gifts, and talents, and to learn to take care of yourself.
